Concept Hospitality to add 1,000 rooms by 2013 across India
Concept Hospitality is set to expand the footprint of its brands The Fern and The Fern Residency in India, collectively adding approximately 1,000 rooms to its profile by 2013. These will be spread across Tier-II and Tier-III cities. Currently, the Group has over 1,000 rooms operational across 18 existing properties in India. Concept Hospitality will be associated with the owners from greenfield stage to manage the upcoming properties in Chennai; Rajkot, Solapur, Chembur, Tezpur (Assam), which are expected to open by March 2012.
Other properties in the pipeline will come up in Asansol, Salt Lake City (Kolkata) in West Bengal, Jalgaon, Solapur, and Goregaon (Mumbai) in Maharashtra by 2013. Of these, the Salt Lake City and the Mumbai property will be under The Fern while the remaining under The Fern Residency.
