Owned by Costa Rican Mariamalia Sotela, El Gavilan Lodge is located on the road to Puerto Viejo de Sarapiqui between the San Jose-Limone highway and Puerto Viejo. All 15 rooms are set in beautiful gardens full of birds and flowers, and offer plenty of privacy. Guests enjoy hiking in the forest, rafting, horseback riding, kayaking and canoeing while here in this rustic yet comfortable setting.
